Key Responsibilities
As Treasury Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the company’s cash flow and financial risk. Your duties will include:

Banking Relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and rating agencies.

Treasury Operations: Implement treasury management processes and internal controls.

Cash Forecasting: Develop accurate short- and long-term cash flow projections for operations, investments, and dividends.

Cash Management: Monitor daily bank movements and ensure all accounts are reconciled.

Stakeholder Communication: Share treasury forecasts with internal teams and provide insights into banking/investment decisions.

Monthly Reconciliation: Align treasury data with accounting records; resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the GL team.

FX & Risk Management: Forecast foreign exchange exposures and support the approval of hedging decisions.

Transaction Processing: Post daily bank transactions and ensure accuracy in records.
Required Qualifications

Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
-
CPA / ACCA / CIMA Certification (mandatory)

Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or extractive industry finance roles

Technical and Soft Skills
-
ERP System Literacy (preferably SAP)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical ability

Accountability, integrity, and professional judgment

Clear and effective communication skills
