Vodacom is currently seeking a qualified and driven individual to join its team as a Territory Manager for Tabora & Nzega. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with strong sales, distribution, and territory management experience, particularly in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.

As a Territory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving product visibility, increasing market share, and ensuring Vodacom products and services are widely available across your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

As a Territory Manager, your role will involve working closely with distributors, dealers, and retail partners to meet sales targets and expand Vodacom’s market presence. Key duties include:

  1. Sales Growth

    • Achieve sales and revenue targets within the assigned territory.

    • Support distribution partners in creating action plans to hit goals.

    • Conduct face-to-face sales and lead closures across retail channels.

  2. Territory and Distribution Management

    • Coordinate product distribution to ensure consistent stock availability.

    • Identify gaps in the distribution chain and recommend solutions.

    • Implement retail execution standards for branding, pricing, and visibility.

  3. Marketing and Promotion

    • Distribute marketing materials and support promotional activities.

    • Recommend and implement trade promotions in your area.

  4. Partner and Staff Engagement

    • Work alongside dealer staff to monitor and coach performance.

    • Train distribution partners on Vodacom products and services.

  5. Market Monitoring and Reporting

    • Track competitor activity and report management insights.

    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and performance reports.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales Management, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sales, distribution, or territory management.

  • Excellent knowledge of telecommunication products and services.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong planning, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.

  • Must possess a valid driving license.

  • High level of integrity, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement.
