About the Project
The Strengthening Post Crash Care in Tanzania (SPRINT) project is a WHO-funded research initiative at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, aimed at improving outcomes for road traffic injury victims through enhanced emergency care systems.
Project Duration
• January 2025 – January 2027 (24 months)
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
• Coordinate research activities across multiple sites
• Manage stakeholder relationships
• Ensure protocol compliance
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables
Research Operations
• Oversee data collection and quality control
• Maintain research documentation
• Coordinate with clinical sites
• Support ethical approval processes
Team Coordination
• Facilitate team communications
• Organize training sessions
• Supervise research assistants
• Liaise with stakeholders
Quality Assurance
• Monitor compliance with GCP
• Ensure data integrity
• Manage risk mitigation
• Prepare progress reports
Required Qualifications
Education: ✓ Medical Doctor or Master's in Health Sciences ✓ Valid medical license (for MDs) Experience: ✓ 2+ years in clinical research ✓ GCP certification
Essential Skills
• Project management expertise • Strong analytical abilities • Excellence in communication • Proficiency in REDCAP • Microsoft Office mastery
