About the Role
Coop Bank is seeking a dynamic Relationship Manager – Internet Banking to drive adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction for its Internet Banking platform.
This role focuses on customer onboarding, digital engagement, relationship management, and product advocacy across Consumer, SME & MSE, Corporate, Cooperatives, and SACCO segments. You will play a key role in supporting the bank’s digital transformation and financial inclusion agenda.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition & Onboarding

Promote Internet Banking services to new and existing clients across all segments.

Ensure smooth onboarding of customers, including training and activation support.

Work with branch and relationship teams to identify customers best suited for Internet Banking adoption.
2. Relationship Management & Client Support

Manage and grow a portfolio of Internet Banking users.

Proactively monitor usage, address customer issues, and provide outstanding support.

Serve as the primary contact for Internet Banking queries and escalations.
3. Platform Promotion & Usage Growth

Drive awareness of Internet Banking features such as fund transfers, bill payments, and statement access.

Execute campaigns to boost logins, transaction volumes, and cross-usage of digital products.

Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to design targeted engagement programs.
4. Service Optimization & Feedback

Collect feedback to improve platform usability and customer experience.

Partner with IT, Operations, and Product teams to resolve technical challenges.

Support testing and rollout of new Internet Banking enhancements.
5. Reporting, Risk & Compliance

Monitor KPIs such as customer acquisition, active usage, and transaction growth.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.

Identify and escalate potential digital fraud or suspicious activity.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or mobile banking solutions.

Prior exposure in banking institutions or telecom companies is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of digital platforms, mobile banking, and Internet banking systems.
