1. Organic Manure Production Trainer

Location: Iringa, Tanzania | Contract: Consultancy (Paid)

Role Overview

Lead hands-on training for 200 youth across three wards (Ifunda, Kihanga, Maboga) in sustainable composting and organic manure production, aligning with Restless Development’s environmental sustainability goals 49.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical training on composting techniques and organic manure production.

  • Conduct pre- and post-assessments to measure knowledge uptake.

  • Provide post-training mentorship and submit detailed reports with photo/video documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in organic farming/composting training.

  • Local knowledge of Iringa’s languages and communities.

  • Ability to develop training manuals and financial proposals 49.

Remuneration

  • 40% upfront payment (after inception report) + 60% upon completion 9.

2. Tanzania Hub Director

Location: Tanzania (Head Office) | Contract: Full-Time

Role Overview

As the senior leader of Restless Development Tanzania, you’ll drive the hub’s strategy, partnerships, and youth-led programs, ensuring alignment with Global Goal 35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee program delivery, finance, and operations across Tanzania.

  • Strengthen relationships with government, donors, and youth networks.

  • Lead a high-performing team and represent the hub globally.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in NGOs or youth development programs.

  • Strategic vision for scaling impact in education, health, and climate action.

  • Fluency in English and Swahili 35.
