About the Role
Standard Bank is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to serve as the Head of Personalisation within its Personal and Private Banking (PPB) division. This critical role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team to build data-driven, personalised engagement strategies for High Net Worth clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling relevant and impactful client conversations through innovative tools such as Next Best Action (NBA) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Build, manage, and inspire an analytics team to support data-informed decision-making.

Client Engagement Platform Design: Develop and implement a conversation portal/tool (e.g., NBA) to enable meaningful, context-based interactions between bankers and clients.

Data-Driven Personalisation: Deliver actionable insights using advanced statistical models and customer behavior analytics.

Campaign Management: Oversee the lifecycle of marketing and service campaigns tailored to the needs of High Net Worth clients.

Insight Translation: Convert deep analytics into commercially viable client conversation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across marketing, data science, private banking, and product teams to unify messaging and experience.

Required Qualifications

A First Degree in:

Business Commerce

Mathematical Sciences
-
Or a related analytical/quantitative discipline

Experience & Background

8–10 years of experience in:

Advanced analytics and modeling

Translating data into client-facing actions that drive business results

Strong experience in delivering both customer and commercial outcomes
