About the Role
Olerai Lodge is seeking an experienced and dedicated gardener to maintain and enhance our beautiful outdoor spaces. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance who thrives in creating welcoming natural environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of garden maintenance,, including planting, watering, pruning, and weeding
- Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, and fertilization
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and irrigation systems
- Identify and address plant health issues promptly
- Assist with landscaping projects and seasonal planting arrangements
- Ensure all outdoor areas remain clean and visually appealing
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Minimum 3 years professional gardening/landscaping experience
✔ Strong knowledge of local plants and soil conditions
✔ Proficiency with gardening tools and equipment
✔ Understanding of irrigation systems and water conservation
✔ Physical fitness for outdoor work in various weather conditions
✔ Knowledge of organic gardening techniques (advantageous)
