About the Role: Executive Administration in Juba

The executive administration role, hosted by IFDC for ICRISAT, is based in Juba, South Sudan, and serves as the backbone of operational efficiency for the organization’s local office. Reporting to the senior scientist, the successful candidate will manage front-office operations and provide critical administrative support. Key responsibilities include

  • Front Desk Management: Act as the first point of contact, offering a warm and professional welcome to visitors, clients, and staff while maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
  • Record Keeping: Manage and file critical documents, including donor grants, sub-grant contracts, partnership agreements, MOUs, and staff records (e.g., contracts for consultants and interns).
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Arrange appointments, meetings, and logistical support for workshops, conferences, and events, ensuring seamless communication and organization.
  • Logistical Support: Play a key role in organizing internal and external meetings, assisting participants, and coordinating event logistics.
  • Additional Duties: Handle other administrative tasks as assigned, supporting the smooth operation of the Juba office.
