About the Role

NECTA is seeking a qualified Examinations Officer II specializing in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. This critical role ensures the integrity and quality of national examinations through meticulous supervision of examination processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise marking of examination scripts
• Compile and manage examiner lists for various exams
• Oversee test item development and marking schemes
• Coordinate moderation of exam questions and scoring rubrics
• Typeset and proofread examination papers
• Conduct post-exam analysis to provide stakeholder feedback
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Option 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Education (Mechanical Engineering major) from accredited institution

Option 2:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering PLUS
• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
