Client Service Analyst Job, Asian Desk May 2025

About the Role

NMB Bank is seeking a dynamic Client Service Analyst to join our Asian Desk, where you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience and driving retention for our Corporate Banking clients. This position combines relationship management, data-driven problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional service and uncover growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Proactively engage with corporate clients through regular visits, calls, and analytics-driven support to address their banking needs.

  • Reduce client dormancy and churn by monitoring service utilization and implementing retention strategies.

2. Service Excellence & Problem Resolution

  • Partner with relationship managers, product sales, and operations to resolve escalated client issues.

  • Lead service recovery initiatives to rebuild loyalty with impacted clients.

3. Process Improvement & Business Growth

  • Identify and advocate for process enhancements to elevate client experience.

  • Uncover cross-selling opportunities by analyzing client behavior and needs.

  • Participate in monthly service reviews with key clients to refine service standards.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Uphold NMB’s Code of Conduct and ethical standards in all client interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of banking experience, including 1+ year in Corporate/High-Value Client support.

  • Fluency in Chinese (spoken/written) to engage with Asian Desk clients.

  • Strong knowledge of wholesale banking products, trade finance, and international banking services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional relationship management and communication abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in report writing, data analysis, and credit processes.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams (Risk, Compliance, Operations).
