Position Overview
We’re seeking a strategic Account Executive to drive our public sector initiatives. This role combines enterprise sales expertise with deep government sector knowledge to help public organizations transform their digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
• Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition
• Manage complex, multi-million dollar opportunities
• Develop innovative public sector sales strategies
• Lead high-impact government engagements
Market Development
• Research and identify key government opportunities
• Design creative outreach strategies
• Build relationships with senior government officials
• Create compelling value propositions
Business Development
• Generate and qualify new opportunities
• Manage complex procurement processes
• Navigate government contract vehicles
• Develop accurate sales forecasts
Account Management
• Foster long-term strategic partnerships
• Expand existing government accounts
• Ensure client success and satisfaction
• Drive solution adoption
Required Qualifications
Experience:
✓ 7+ years enterprise software sales
✓ 5+ years US Federal Government sales
✓ Strong SaaS/CMS background
✓ Proven quota achievement
Essential Skills
• Government procurement expertise • Executive-level communication • Complex deal negotiation • Strategic account planning • Solution-based selling approach
