The Director General of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for the following vacant positions in various District Offices:
1. Investigation Officers II (250 Posts)
Required Qualifications:
Academic Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or Undergraduate Degree from recognized institutions in any of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Building Economics/Quantity Surveying
- Electrical Engineering
- Water Engineering
- Highway Engineering
- Architecture
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Law
- Accountancy
- Economics
- Planning
- Cyber Security
- Tax
- Procurement
- Actuarial Science
- Psychology
- Guidance and Counselling
- Minimum pass of Lower Second Class.
- Good working knowledge of IT and computer-related applications.
- Registration by respective professional boards will be an added advantage.
Other Qualifications:
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.
- Maximum age: 30 years old.
2. Assistant Investigators III (100 Posts)
Required Qualifications:
Academic Qualifications:
- Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE), Basic Technician Certificate, or Diploma from recognized institutions in one of the following categories:
- National Service Programs with Security Skills
- Motor Vehicle Mechanics
- Panel Beating and Spray Painting
- Automotive Electronics (NVA/NTA Levels 3-4)
- Driving Skills
- Customer Service/Office Assistant
- Assistant Accountant
- Secretarial Studies
Other Qualifications:
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.
- Minimum age: 18 years old; Maximum age: 25 years old.
3. General Requirements and Conditions for All Applicants:
- High integrity with no criminal record.
- Submission of certified copies of the following documents is mandatory:
- Degree/Advanced Diploma Transcripts and Certificates.
- Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
- Standard VII Completion Certificate.
- Professional Certificates from respective boards.
- One recent passport-sized photograph.
- Birth Certificate.
- National Identity Card (NIDA) or NIDA registration number is mandatory.
- Testimonials, partial transcripts, and results slips will not be accepted.
- Certificates from foreign examination bodies must be certified by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
- Certificates from foreign universities must be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
- Applicants must submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable contact details, including:
- Physical address
- Postal address
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Presentation of forged academic certificates or false information in the CV will result in legal action.
- Applicants must provide three referees with reliable contact details, along with a passport-sized photograph for each referee.
- Individuals previously terminated from Public Service are ineligible to apply.
- Application letters must be handwritten in Swahili or English.
- Applicants employed in Government Institutions must channel their applications through their current employers.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified for further recruitment processes.
Note: Once recruited, candidates will be assigned to any PCCB District Office as determined by the Director General.
