Tanzania Immigration Department Invites Applications for New Job Positions

The Tanzania Immigration Department, under the leadership of the Commissioner General of Immigration, announces exciting job opportunities for Tanzanian youth. These positions are open to qualified candidates eager to serve their country and join the Immigration Department as Immigration Officers.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
- Must hold Tanzanian citizenship.
- Must be unemployed and without prior employment with government institutions.
- Possess a valid birth certificate.
- Have a National ID (NIDA) or NIDA number for registration.
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Must not have a history of drug use.
- No criminal records or involvement in criminal activities.
- Must not have tattoos or visible body markings.
- Be unmarried and have no children.
- Age Limits:
- Form Four education: 18–22 years.
- Form Six education or diploma holders: 18–25 years.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma holders: 18–30 years.
- Be willing to work anywhere in Tanzania.
- Must independently bear the costs of the recruitment process.
Priority Fields of Study
Special preference will be given to applicants with expertise in:
- International Languages, Administration, Law, Public Relations, Information Technology, Records Management, Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Procurement and Supply (registered professionals), Statistics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Mechanics, AC Technology, Cyber Security, Brass Band, and Printing.

Required documents must be uploaded in PDF format (maximum size per document: 300KB):
- A recent passport-size photo (jpg/png format, maximum size 300KB).
- A handwritten application letter.
- An introduction letter from the local government authority or camp commander (for JKT/JKU graduates).
- Birth certificate.
- National ID (NIDA) or NIDA number.
- Secondary school certificates (O-Level and A-Level).
- Verified certificates for diploma, advanced diploma, or degree qualifications.
- Registration certificates for regulated professions.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
