Job Description:

The Relationship Manager for Mass Affluent (Acquisition) is responsible for creating new business relationships and managing existing ones within the bank’s Affluent and Mass Affluent segments. The role focuses on growing the liabilities and asset portfolios, offering tailored financial solutions, and contributing to product launches and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private banking and client relationship management and a strong track record of acquiring and nurturing business accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the Affluent and Mass Affluent customer base through relationship building and effective market segmentation.
  • Establish relationships with key corporate clients and offer them comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Assist in launching products, sales strategies, and campaigns targeting high-value clients.
  • Expand the portfolio through both scheme and non-scheme lending.
  • Leverage existing customer relationships to identify and create new profitable business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage strategic alliances with third-party organizations to drive business growth.
  • Advise the business on companies that exhibit high-risk policies and practices.
  • Stay updated on market trends and product/service needs, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Banking/Business Banking Relationship Managers to enhance corporate relationships.
  • Generate referrals and market intelligence to support business objectives and product sales.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in private scheme recruitment within the financial services sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or relationship management.
  • Experience in business credit and trade services is essential.
  • Project management experience is desirable.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of bank products, operations, regulations, and private banking client markets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and drive changes in market trends and business strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement Management Information Systems (MIS).
